How the system began...

The Honey Lane System was built in 2007 by Steve Mushin who has worked on a number of project around CERES including three Aquaponics systems.

Steve is still working on projects around CERES, and while he isn’t involved with the HoneyLane sitegroup directly he is still helps us out from time to time and provides us with his invaluable knowledge about aquaponics. Throughout the year he is known to put on a few aquaponics workshops through CERES so keep an eye on their workshop page here to try to catch one. He tours the systems that he has built, and talks in depth about the theory and practicalities of running a system. Attending one of his workshops was how I got started with aquaponics, and I recommend it! They are well worth it!
